I'll always have fond memories of those first days at school; meeting with all my friends for the first time after summer holidays, shopping stationary with mum and dad, smelling that lovely scent of my new books...No matter how many years pass, some feelings can never be forgotten. URBAN CROSS STITCH

Never thought I'd get to cross stitch again as a grownup but when I saw the Urban Cross Stitch kits, I just couldn't help not getting one!

During a visit to Arkansas, USA, Phil Davison, a London based pattern-cutter, was introduced to cross stitching by an elderly family friend. Wishing to combine his newfound interest with his love of street art, he decided to create his very own cross stitch brand.

Urban Cross Stitch are dedicated to 'urban-craft', updating cross stitch from twee pastime to modern graphic medium.

Australian novelist, Julia Leigh revisits the classic fairytale theme of the Sleeping Beauty to make her cinematic debut.

Death-haunted, quietly reckless, Lucy (Emily Browning) is a young university student who takes a job as a Sleeping Beauty. In the Sleeping Beauty Chamber old men seek an erotic experience that requires Lucy’s absolute submission. This unsettling task starts to bleed into Lucy’s daily life and she develops an increasing need to know what happens to her when she is asleep.
